Malisense Wins the Pitch Night Vote!

With the winning game decided, our Mock Studio journey begins! Look here for what Malisense’s pitch looked like! Utilizing the core concepts established in the pitch, we began to flesh out the ideas of the game.

January 12th, 2024

First Meeting of the Quarter, and Beginning of Sprint 1 Development

Our goal with Sprint 1 was to establish the foundation for the game, expanding on the ideas established in a pitch and creating prototypes for the various core mechanics. For Malisense, this means establishing the core dungeon crawling gameplay, complete with an items and artifact system, as well as deciding on the the monster designs.

January 19th, 2024

Week 1 of Sprint 1 is Complete!

Tasks have been assigned and progress has been made across all departments in terms of establishing prototypes for the concepts discussed the week before.

January 26th, 2024

Sprint 1 is Complete!

The general meeting is spent to refine the work done in the past weeks, finalizing concepts and making cuts where needed. Department producers were also established. Read the full Sprint 1 Devlog here!
